This sweet girl is my foster dog, Dakota. She is one of the dogs from the Golden Retriever Rescue Resource (GRRR). Isn't she beautiful? This poor girl has lived outside most of her adult life. At the age of six she was surrendered by her owner because she was going off to college and the family could not care for her. The good news is that after spending a few months in foster care, Dakota is being placed in her forever home today!

I agree, she is indeed a very beautiful dog. Hope she will have her permanent home already and just take good care of her.
